Always consult the appropriate physician, nurse, pharmacist, therapist, social worker, medical-equipment professional, or other qualified provider before making healthcare or care-level decisions.

Emergencies and Immediate Safety Concerns

Do not use this website, an online form, email, voicemail, text message, or Community Glow service for an emergency.

  • Crisis intervention

  • Continuous monitoring

  • Protective supervision

  • After-hours emergency coverage

  • Immediate review of website forms or messages

If you suspect elder or dependent-adult abuse, neglect, abandonment, isolation, or financial exploitation, contact the appropriate Adult Protective Services agency, law-enforcement agency, Long-Term Care Ombudsman, or emergency service.

No Professional Medical, Legal, Financial, or Insurance Advice

Community Glow does not provide medical, legal, tax, accounting, financial-planning, investment, insurance, or benefits-eligibility advice.

Information about advance-care planning, estate organization, end-of-life preparation, government benefits, insurance, housing, property, finances, or legal documents is provided only for general educational and organizational purposes.

Customers should consult an appropriately licensed professional before making decisions concerning:

  • Medical care or treatment

  • Insurance coverage

  • Medicare or Medi-Cal

  • Veterans benefits

  • Estate planning

  • Advance healthcare directives

  • Powers of attorney

  • Wills or trusts

  • Property transfers

  • Taxes

  • Investments

  • Contracts

  • Legal rights or responsibilities

Community Glow does not prepare legal documents unless permitted by law and expressly included in a service description. We do not interpret laws or contracts or advise customers regarding which legal option they should select.

Senior Placement Assistance

Community Glow may help families identify, research, compare, and contact senior-living communities and care providers, including:

  • Assisted-living communities

  • Memory-care communities

  • Independent-living communities

  • Residential Care Facilities for the Elderly

  • Board-and-care homes

  • Home-care providers

  • Hospice organizations

  • Other senior-care or community-service providers

Community Glow does not own, operate, manage, employ, supervise, inspect, license, or control third-party facilities or providers unless expressly stated in writing.

Community Glow does not determine the medically appropriate level of care. Families should discuss care needs and placement suitability with qualified healthcare professionals and the prospective provider.

The family or authorized decision-maker is responsible for making the final placement decision.

Independent Evaluation of Facilities and Providers

Community Glow may review publicly available licensing information, provider information, inspection records, services, pricing, or other relevant materials. However, this review does not replace the family’s independent investigation.

Families are encouraged to:

  • Tour the facility or interview the provider

  • Confirm the provider’s current license or registration

  • Review available inspection and complaint information

  • Ask about staffing, supervision, training, and background checks

  • Review all fees, deposits, contracts, and cancellation terms

  • Ask how emergencies and changes in condition are handled

  • Confirm whether the provider can meet the individual’s needs

  • Consult healthcare and legal professionals when appropriate

  • Speak with current residents, families, or references when possible

A license or registration confirms that a provider has met applicable governmental requirements at a particular time. It is not a guarantee of quality, safety, availability, suitability, or future performance.

Licensing information, ownership, staffing, services, pricing, availability, and regulatory status may change after Community Glow reviews the information.

No Guarantee of Placement or Provider Performance

Community Glow does not guarantee:

  • Admission or acceptance by a facility or provider

  • Availability of a particular room, bed, caregiver, or service

  • Approval by a healthcare professional or insurance company

  • That a provider will meet every preference or expectation

  • That a placement will remain appropriate after admission

  • The conduct, reliability, safety, or future performance of a third party

  • A specific placement, care, health, financial, or family outcome

Third-party facilities and providers make their own admission, service, staffing, pricing, and eligibility decisions.

Community Glow is not responsible for the independent acts, omissions, decisions, representations, services, or policies of a facility, caregiver, provider, retailer, government program, or other third party.

Referral Relationships and Compensation

Community Glow may receive a referral or placement fee from certain participating senior-living communities or other providers when permitted by law.

When a material compensation relationship applies to a referral, Community Glow will disclose that relationship as appropriate.

Community Glow:

  • Does not represent every facility or provider available

  • May not have compensation relationships with every option presented

  • Does not guarantee that a participating provider is the only or best option

  • Will not knowingly accept referral compensation where prohibited by law

Families are not required to select a provider that compensates Community Glow.

The family remains responsible for evaluating available options and making the final decision. A referral relationship does not create ownership, employment, agency, or supervisory authority over the third-party provider.
